With an industry experience of more than 20 yrs both in IT Products & Services sales spread across various verticals like Manufacturing, BFSI, IT/ITES, Health Care, Utilities, etc has worked with various cross-cultural, multi-dimensional sales, pre-sales & inside sales teams. He brings in a diverse sales experience having graduated from selling e-mail id’s to websites, e-portals, Customised IT services/ solutions & Enterprise class products. He has previously worked with Compulink Systems Ltd, Softpro Systems Ltd, Java Softech Pvt Ltd, Aspen Technologies etc. In his last assignment with an indigenous product company at Pune, he worked as Revenue Business Head & Vice-President sales contributing close to 100 new customers influencing revenues worth $ 5 million in about 4 yrs.

Umesh has rich experience of 25 yrs both in software products & services. After completing his Physics) from University of Pune he started his career as an entrepreneur by developing software products catering to small to medium stock brokers & custom applications on various technologies including various mini-ERP’s to SME’s. His experience in Product Development includes right from evangelising the Concept to Requirement Engineering & Product Engineering covering Product Management, Technological Consulting, Presales and Implementation. During his career he has worked with more than 250 customers selling and implementing desk top tools, mini ERPs and enterprise class products in domestic as well as overseas markets. In his previous assignment Umesh worked as Vice -President leading the Presales & Consulting teams across various verticals including BFSI, manufacturing, Services Execution Management, Pharma, Engineering, Clinical Research etc. At TekEdge he leads the effort of IT Strategic Sales Consulting helping SME’s in their product life cycle management, Packaging, Market segmentation & GTM Strategies with various Licensing &Pricing options, establishing customer engagement models, enabling product positioning etc.


Rahul Sancheti, Independent Sales Management Consultant

Rahul has more than 16 yrs of software sales experience in India & abroad. In his last assignment as a Regional Sales Manager has managed revenues worth a min of Rs.10 million YOY for more than 4 yrs. He has the rich experience of “Product Life Cycle” Sales value chain having single handily worked on a enterprise class product from the initial launch to seeing it thru cut-throat competition to that of being a market leader. Rahul worked with various Fortune 500 customers including John Deere, Visteon, Syntel, ICICI bank, PCFC Dubai, SBI life etc. Rahul guides Sales,Partner’s & Alliances along with Sales Life Cycle Management services.

Mr. Rao Tummalapalli is the Managing Director at Seneca Global and he brings in over 25 years of technology and management experience in Information Technology.

Mr. Tummalapalli has built very successful organizations with a world class management team and global delivery capability ( including SEI/CMM Level 5 and ISO 9001:2000 standards). After spending 12 years in USA, he returned to India in 1998 to start his own global IT services firm with operations in Chicago, IL and Hyderabad. A successful entrepreneur, his expertise includes change management and delivery of mission critical services with global delivery capability. Mr. Tummalapalli was formerly Managing Director at Alliance Consulting IT Services Private Limited and Divine India Limited (NASDAQ: DVIN). Prior to that, he started his career with Bell Atlantic, Inc. (now Verizon Communications, Inc.) and worked with Automatic Data Processing, Inc. and Dow Jones & Company, Inc. to deliver software solutions for Wall Street.

Mr. Tummalapalli holds a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Technological University, India and Masters degrees in Computer Science and Civil (Structural) Engineering from West Virginia University, USA.
